READ OUR BOOKING POLICY
1. Scope of Work
We perform only handyman services that do not require a licensed contractor under Florida Statute §489.
2. Hourly Billing
Appointments are billed at $75 per hour. The technician will give an estimated time before starting the job.
3. Photos and Job Details
Photos or descriptions may be requested to ensure the job is within legal handyman limits.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
5. Payments
Payment is required at the end of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
6. Safety & Limitations
We may decline unsafe, hazardous, or non-permitted tasks.
1. Materials Provided by the Client
If the client chooses to provide their own materials, tools, equipment, or replacement parts, the client is fully responsible for ensuring that such materials are:
• Compatible with the requested service
• New or in good working condition
• Complete and not missing components
• Free of defects
• Appropriate for the intended use
JMR2604 General Services LLC is not responsible for defective, incompatible, insufficient, or low-quality materials supplied by the client.
2. Defective or Incorrect Materials at the Time of Service
If at the time of the appointment the materials provided by the client are found to be:
• Defective
• Not functioning
• Incompatible
• Insufficient
• Unsafe or unsuitable for proper installation
The technician will not be able to complete the service, and the appointment must be rescheduled once the correct materials are available.
3. Minimum Charge for Booked Appointments
If the service cannot be completed due to incorrect or defective materials provided by the client, a minimum charge equivalent to one hour of service will apply to cover:
• Technician’s time
• Travel to the location
• Evaluation and inspection performed
• The reserved appointment slot
This charge is mandatory and must be paid before rescheduling the appointment.
4. Materials Purchased by JMR2604 General Services LLC
When we purchase the necessary materials:
• We guarantee compatibility and quality
• We ensure the materials are in proper working condition
• We take responsibility for any material-related issues (according to manufacturer warranty)
This helps avoid delays, additional costs, and rescheduling.
5. Rescheduling the Appointment
Once the client obtains the correct materials, the appointment may be rescheduled based on availability.
The minimum service charge for the previous visit is non-refundable.
JMR2604 General Services LLC is fully insured, providing peace of mind and protection for every service performed.
We also operate under a valid Florida Workers’ Compensation Exemption, legally certifying that the business owner is exempt from mandatory workers’ compensation coverage under Florida law.
Travel Time and Scheduling
To ensure punctuality and quality:
• Appointment times include only work time, not travel time
• We schedule with buffer windows to account for driving between jobs
• If a previous job exceeds expected time, we notify the next client immediately
• Jobs requiring more than one hour should be booked as extended sessions
• Customers should provide photos so we can estimate duration accurately
Recommended Booking Rule:
Book at least 2 hours per job if:
• The work involves multiple tasks
• There is assembly + installation
• There is preparation + cleanup involved
We perform only handyman services that do NOT require a contractor’s license in Florida.
If a project requires licensed work (electrical rewiring, plumbing alterations, HVAC, structural changes), we will inform you immediately and recommend a licensed professional.
